Automated Resource Management Associates, Inc (ARMA) is seeking a Field EngineeII to support its client in the Washington D.C. and Virginia metropolitan area. The Field Engineer II will perform non-routine duties involving the installation and repair of electronic equipment. In addition, the ability to perform all duties under minimal supervision.  No Remote Option, Candidates must work onsite. 


  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management information Systems or Business.  
  • Three (3) year of experience to with Systems/ Equipment support, and Test and Evaluation support of Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance(C4ISR). 
  • One (1) year of technical experience in support of "Specific Projects" 
  • Experience developing Windows services using Visual Studio. 
  • Experience with Video & audio processing, compression, recording, and streaming over wireless network applications. 
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance; Active Secret Clearance preferred  

General Responsibilities (include but not limited to):  

  • Installation of microcomputers and communication systems  
  • Assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating all information  
  • Installation and maintenance of networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAP's 
  • Accurately and timely submission of all job-related documents and deliverables 
  • Analysis, design, specification, documentation, implementation and support of software solutions involving wired and wireless networking, cameras, remote sensors. 
  • Installs, diagnoses and repairs Fileserver, personal computer, printers, modems, monitors, and other associated peripherals.  
  • Analyzes operational malfunctions using troubleshooting skills, knowledge of common personal computers and diagnostic software. 
  • Ensure code repositories are updated in a timely fashion 
  • Review system documentation, test plans and procedures
