Automated Resource Management Associates, Inc (ARMA) is seeking a SrField Engineer II to support its client in the Washington D.C. and Virginia metropolitan area. The Sr. Field Engineer II will provide design coding, testing and validating programs that solve engineering related problems. In addition, directs the development of  the architecture, detailed system design, coding, testing, integration and configuration management schemes for software systems. 

No Remote Option, Candidates must work onsite.  


  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management information Systems or Business.  
  • Fifteen (15) year of experience to with Systems/ Equipment support, and Test and Evaluation support of Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance(C4ISR). 
  • Five (5) year of technical experience 
  • Experience providing direction and supervision to personnel.  
  • Experience developing Windows services using Visual Studio. 
  • Experience with Video & audio processing, compression, recording, and streaming over wireless network applications. 
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance; Active Secret Clearance preferred   

General Responsibilities (include but not limited to):  

  • Directs the development and maintenance of appropriate documentation for system design, testing and maintenance.  
  • Establishes and maintain vendor and supplier information for associated disciplines and project areas. 
  • Works closely with other engineers, systems analysts, and system end users for the development of appropriate system architecture, and implementation of system design.   
  • Supports the specification and procurement of computer systems, peripherals, accessories, software applications and software development tools.  
  • Works with internal project teams to develop detailed technical requirement and specification for the development of the software element for complex systems.  
  • Effectively utilize technical and engineering data to perform problem analysis and troubleshooting to the lowest applicable hardware level to restore normal operational availability.  
  • Be accountable in the control and maintenance of all provided system test kit materials to include cables and adapters
